2022 Results & Winner of the Cup

The Winners 2022 are: Team Mexico and Team USA! Congratulations!
Incredible finish at WPC 2022 … first time in 9 editions, two countries share the prestigious World Photographic Cup!
Mexico and the USA got the same number of points in the contest and were both declared winners of the WPC 2022!
This is the extraordinary result of the competition, now in its ninth edition this year, held for the first time in Italy.
Mexico and the USA led the way from the other teams, dominating the WPC, each with two gold medals, one silver and several finalists in all six categories of the competition. Third was the Australian team (twice WPC winner and defending champion), followed by Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Canada, Finland, Japan and Poland in the ranking.
For the first time in the same edition, two individual gold medals in two different categories went to the same photographer, Iván Durán, Team Mexico, for the Commercial and Illustrative categories. The 2022 further gold medals went to Michelle Valberg, Team Canada (Nature), Swati Chakraborty, Team India (Portrait), Ted York, Team United States for Reportage and Michael Anthony for Wedding, also from United States. With Japan, Finland, Canada, Spain, Australia, Sweden, Philippines and Poland also joining the individual medal circle.
