Creating Friendships and Uniting Photographers Worldwide


As the excitement grows and the deadline approaches, more and more nations are joining the “World Photographic Cup” competition. 19 countries have committed to entering – Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Finland, Georgia, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Norway, Pakistan, Slovakia, Spain, Ukraine, UK and USA………. have all joined and each day requests are being received from other countries. Photography is a language with many dialects and interpretations. It is a visual language that transcends cultural differences and assists in a better understanding of the unique perceptions of the world we live in. The image submissions will be judged by an international panel of 15 esteemed photographers ensuring that the judging reflects the highest photographic standards without bias of any kind. The call for entries is going worldwide. Photographic associations are invited to send a TEAM ENTRY from their nation to represent their highest standard of photographic excellence and style for the inaugural WORLD PHOTOGRAPHIC CUP. Submission deadline is Oct 31st, 2013 and the judging will take place Nov 15, 2013. The first presentation of the World Photographic Cup and the 18 medal winners will take place in January 2014 at Imaging USA in Phoenix Az. Imaging USA is recognized as one of the largest conferences in North America with over 10,000 attendees. The World Photographic Cup was conceived and launched by FEP (Federation of European photographers) and PPA (Professional Photographers of America) as a vehicle to globally share photographic style, encourage image excellence and create friendships across a diverse cultural environment.
