We are happy to announce that the World Photographic Cup 2022 will open for entries on June 15, and a new exciting round of this unique global competition will start again. Deadline for registrations will be October 15.

Team captains, it’s then now time to create your new national team and send your registration through the WPC website starting from June 15! Despite the difficulties, WPC is ready to start over with you again. Thanks to your enthusiasm, which never faded, even when there were “hard times”, last year we had a record number of registrations (38 countries from 5 different continents) and we are confident that this year we will be even more.

In order to help all the teams to be part of the game, the WPC Committee confirmed also for this year a reduction of the entry fee, which will be 200 euro instead of 400.

As the global photography community struggles to return to normal, the WPC governing committee would like to extend this special opportunity to all countries in an effort to assist with their registration.

In addition, registration for 2022, guarantees a registration fee of 300 euro for 2023 and return to the normal 400 euro for 2024. Teams not entering the incoming edition, for 2023 would face a normal fee of 400 euro.

This time, the possibility of organizing an awards ceremony in presence seems to be concrete. Therefore we are pleased to announce that, hopefully, the winners announcement will take place in Rome on Monday, March 28, during the event “WPC Roma 2022” (from March 26 to 29) and all winners 2020, 2021 and 2022 will be invited to participate.

This event will be realized also thanks to our precious Gold sponsor ChromaLuxe, which has accompanied us since the first edition and confirmed the Gold Sponsorship also for this coming edition.

“We are thrilled to extend our commitment to the World Photographic Cup as Gold Sponsor. Now that we are leaving the COVID pandemic behind us, we are eager to again engage with the global community of creative minds. We look forward to discuss trends in photography and print technology,” said Kristina Lowe, Global Marketing Director for ChromaLuxe. “We value the World Photographic Cup for the support and recognition it brings to both established and upcoming talents. Being able to connect our premium print media with the best photographers of the world means a great deal to us.”

Stay tuned, follow us and… good luck to all the WPC 2022 Teams!
