Team Spain Wins the 2024 World Photographic Cup!

World Photographic Cup Winners Announcement
The announcement of the winning Team for 2024 has just taken place at the Raddison Hotel in Addison (Dallas) Texas.
For the first time in the Cup’s history, we celebrate with Team Spain who took home the World Photographic Cup!
Team USA came in Second Place and Team Canada took out Third Place in the Teams Competition.
There were a number of Spanish photographers who made the trip to Dallas to collect their medals and certificates – and of course the coveted World Photographic Cup.
This presentation was the culmination of a year’s work and competition between 31 international teams. Each team may enter 3 images in the 10 available categories which are judged to find the Top 10 images in the world.
Team Spain took home two silver medals, three bronze medals and five Top 10 finalists.
In a competition where every point counts, the The top 10 teams finish up as:
1st place – Team Spain
2nd place – Team USA
3rd place – Team Canada
4th place – Team Finland
4th place – Team Portugal
6th place – Team Sweden
7th place – Team Australia
8th place – Team United Kingdom
9th place – Team Philippines
10th place – Team New Zealand
In 2024, two new categories were introduced meaning 10 categories in total were judged and awarded.

Nature/Landscape: Francisco Negroni (Chile)
Nature/Wildlife: Jacquie Matachuk (Canada)
Portrait/Natural: Erich Caparas (Philippines)

Reportage/Photojournalism: Craig Minielly (Canada)
Sports: Jonathan Näckstrand (Sweden)
Wedding Open: Wei Wang (China)
Wedding Photojournalistic: Zuzana Fajmonova (Czech Republic)
The WPC Governing Committee congratulates all 30 medalists (from 14 different nations), the 70 remaining finalists and the 31 Best of Nation awarded photographers.

The Awards Ceremony has been followed by the opening of the WPC 2024 medal winning images exhibition. Images have been printed by WPC Platinum sponsor ChromaLuxe and partner lab White House Custom Color. Showcasing the wonderful opportunities and exquisite product that metal prints offer all photographers. The exhibition will continue in Dallas Texas for the next few weeks then will travel around the world to showcase the amazing quality of photography that WPC brings each year.
